Badge completion time

I just finished my first year as a daisy leader. Most of the girls were first graders so they bridged to Brownies. We will still have some daisies. We will plan for badges that are shared between the levels so each group can earn badges but looking into the year planner in VTK it looks like most Brownie badges are split between 2 meetings. I am wondering if this is practical or if VTk is being overly cautious. We meet twice a month for an hour. Just looking for some real world experience. Thank you!!
