Working for a startup

Ive been offered a role at a startup but the hiring manager and their manager have both warned me that there is no structure and I will be thrown in the deep end..

When asking about induction and training they said there is none.

I’m very early in my career and I was honest with them in saying that there are parts of this role I have no experience in and need to be trained in. I’ve only ever worked for big companies where there are structures in place for new starters and this has none of that.

It kinda sounds like they need to be hiring someone with more experience that can just do things with no help.

I feel ridiculous saying no as I’m unemployed and I know how bad the job market is but do I really want to be working for a company like this at this stage of my career?
