is this a scam?

I don’t typically sell on marketplace so I’m not super familiar with typical scams but, i listed three items today and all within i wanna say 20-30 minutes i got comments on each post from different people asking me to text a phone number because someone they know is interested.

the part that indicates that this is a scam to me is…why can’t you just send me a DM? why do i have to text a random phone number for a product IM trying to sell. huh ??

does anyone have any experience with this?
