Sometimes I hate being born as a woman (as a het woman)
I just want to vent, because I'm afraid it might happen
I really like being a woman because I'm comfortable with my sex, but after reading a lot about feminism and seeing how things are now with all that negative content like the redpill podcasts Honestly, I feel sorry for all women, and for myself, knowing that we're always criticized for everything, looked down upon, and constantly questioned about our abilities and goals. Call me weak, but i do really fear How far will this far-right movement go, and what does it mean for us? I know there are women who do hate men, but I truly believe they are a very small minority and definitely don't have The weight that anti-feminist content carries on the internet is significant, because I believe that human rights are not negotiable, and above all, there is that fear of one day losing everything that our ancestors fought for.
I'm almost 21 and I'm the complete opposite of what a right-wing ideology would want. I'm a rock and heavy metal guitarist, I like video games, I like working out at the gym, and I like my freedom. I think freedom is what I fear losing most. This year I took the entrance exam for a very prestigious school to study medicine. I couldn't study for about two years because of my financial situation. Sometimes I'm afraid of my future And if I lose or can't live my life as I please, I've never had a boyfriend and the truth is I would like to in the future, maybe get married (without children) I'm absolutely sure I'm heterosexual, but seeing the attitude of men my age online, frankly, it disgusts me. Although I don't hate men, I'm worried about what's going to happen.
I'm already distancing myself from politicized content (I deleted X and TikTok) and I want to delete Facebook, but I can't because I have things from my band there, so I don't use it much anymore. Currently, I'm almost on Reddit and Instagram constantly banning that type of content from my algorithm ,But I can't help feeling bad sometimes for being a woman and why men (some of them) are being so negatively reactionary to women continuing to be human beings with rights.
