Smurfing as killer
Is smurfing as killer considered scummy?
I've been playing a lot as survivor and recently I started playing more as killer and I got pretty much okay/weak survivors in matches, I basically decimated all of them and ended up getting two hooks on everyone & downing them all.
But eventually I kind of felt like I was playing a broken killer (The First) so I kind of ... let them win.
I did this a few times already and eventually realized that I'm getting worse and worse survivors and it's easier and more relaxing to play instead of extremely stressful when you get extremely coordinated bully squads with communication.
I ended up kind of chasing them around and basically doing this 'cinematic' killer vibe where I scared them off and then chased anyone who was uninjured, not hooking anyone with two hooks until they finally finished gens and escaped. In the end game lobby I basically keep receiving positive comments about how fun it was, how thrilling it was, etc.
I do enjoy thinking about this concept of playing "the killer" not to absolutely dominate the survivors but to give this sense of thrill but also let them have room to breathe, but it also feels like it goes against the competitive spirit of the game.
I feel like I am being somewhat scummy when I'm doing this, because every time I let 2or more survivors escape my MMR gets lowered and I match up with less killed survivors, but it genuinely is really fun to not play the game competitively and just play it like a killer who goes "BOO!" and basically just makes the game thrilling.
