Yone interaction with Vi/Hex tech gauntlets

Hi ya'll! Was just curious, assumingYone's trigger to ping after conquering an open battlefield would deal excess damage would it count for Vi and hextech gauntlets? Neither card specifies combat damage, but im not sure if itd still all be within the same conquer window. Thanks in advance!
