What’s the best way to meet new people in Chicago during this summer?

Hi everyone! 24F and suburbs gal here :).I’ve recently been settling in, visiting the city a lot and I’m looking to get more involved. I’ve always been super passionate about helping people in need, so I’d love some recommendations for meaningful volunteer opportunities around here!

I’m also a huge pickleball fan and love staying active, so if there are any good courts or trails I should check out, let me know! I’m a total nature lover and an aspiring home cook, but since it’s been a bit chilly in the winters, I’ve mostly been perfecting my cozy game and cooking at home.
