What are the current best practices for AI disclaimers (Agent Coding vs. Generated Content)?
I’m a relatively new AI game dev and could use some advice on distribution best practices. I'm trying to figure out exactly how and when I need to include AI disclaimers so I don't run into issues.
I've finished a few small games with agent-based coding. The agents generated the code, but I designed, iterated, and pieced the game mechanics together manually.
My most recent game also includes generated text content (that I edit/curate manually), which I think pushes me into a different category here?
My primary question: How aggressive should I be about disclosing 'coded by AI' everywhere (reddit posts, my website, platform pages, etc.)? And does that answer change when I have more player-facing AI generations like text/images/audio?
I'm mostly looking for input on best-practices/etiquette, rather than 'read the rules for the places you post the game'.
Side-Note: I've been absolutely loving this new development flow. It feels like I finally have the tools to get ideas from my head into reality so much quicker than in the past!
