Someone talk some sense into to me

Recently, I've seen on the Instagram account of my ex because because I was curious. That he's been flirting with a bunch of girls following all kinds of girls with provocative profiles. we've not been together, but last I talked I was under the impression that he was working on himself to be able to be a better partner to me and I was doing the same thing. We are not together, but as of last time we talked that's where we were at. We just decided on no contact would be best for the time being. When I logged into his account, all I saw were girls with provocative profiles he was looking up, commenting on their posts and flirting with them. And I'm just looking for anyone on here to tell me what I already know but just need to confirm it that this is very clear. He does not care about me and has no interest in doing anything better with his life to be able to ever be a partner to me. It's really heartbreaking in a way because I thought he was different. I loved him so much and I felt so deeply in love with him because he showed me that he was not like other men but little bits and pieces over the year started coming out showing that he was in fact just like men that have hurt me before.
