Am I getting trolled by bank teller?

I left work early today and I want to apply for a loan. Around 3:45pm-4pm I went to my bank and asked to book in for a loan for the 12th. The teller told me she booked everything time, date, etc yet didn't ask me for my details. I confirmed I am scheduled and she said 'yes bye'.

If I go there on the 12th and find out the appointment wasn't made I will be escalating it. Though it's also weird to pretend to take an appointment.
