Question regarding Spellbound Steel

Rank 5 is a little confusing to me, but I think I understand it, just wanted some clarification.

"While Inner Sight is active, your Imbue skills apply all imbuments."

Is this implying I should try to cast my poison imbuement while it's active?

(Also please let us mute the damn potion noise.)
