*You were being hunted.*

*The smell of the forest filled your senses as you ran across uneven terrain. Your legs burnt, your body ached. Yet you knew you couldn’t let up.*

*Your finally stopped when you heard coughing from behind you. Wet and pained. Turning around, you saw your assailant out of breath and doubled over. The wounds you'd inflicted earlier had clearly caught up to him.*

*That didn’t exactly put you at an advantage. You were both injured.*

"Well, seems we're at an impasse," *Sam panted, gasping sharply as he forced himself to stand up straight.* "Why don't we make this intresting?"

*He looked down at his gun for a second, before tossing it over to you.*

"A bet. I say in the...Three shots left in there, you won't hit me once."

*His expression shifted from a pained grimace to an unsettling grin.* "If ya land a hit, I'll leave you alone, for now. Land two, and I'll be down for the count. You can leave, or take the final shot. Hit all three...And let's say I'll be out of your hair. Permanently."

"What'dya say?"

(Heavily inspired from a scene from Myth Of The Machine)
