I played this game for the first time with my mate recently. God it's fun

I'm not sure why I'm even typing this or if this sort of post is welcome on this subreddit but I just wanted to share my experience with this game so far.

I love western movies, and the reason I do is because of something I call "charming simplicity"

It's the same with games like Halo CE and doom, they're nothing amazing but you love them because it's fun with its "charming simplicity"

I have had the same experience with this space marine 2.

This is the manliest game to ever exist, heroic Super soldiers calling each other brother raises your testosterone higher than a Greek orgy and turning your brain off to slice and shoot aliens lowers your intelligence and makes you stupid as fuck.

The gameplay is smooth, satisfying and varied enough to keep your attention and the style in how it presents itself is cinematic and pleasing in its over the top action.

Basically this game reminds you of why you play games in the first place, you can have amazing graphics, you can have a good story and you can invent new ideas for gameplay like rdr2 (which is my favourite game) but space marine 2 is simply fun and cool.

The armour is cool, the shooting is fun, the animations are cool, and the slicing is fun.

I will DEFINITELY be playing more.
