Round 2 of antibiotics?

31 female, 5’10 and 218lbs. I take hydroxychloroquine, buspar and wegovy.

Here’s the situation. On Mother’s Day, I ended up in the hospital with a panic attack; everything is fine, but it’s a tough day for me since my mom passed. To be safe, they kept me for a few hours and ran a barrage of tests; everything came back clear

About a week later, I got sick, presumably from something I was exposed to at the hospital. I tried to let my body fight it off, but my immune system is basically ornamental due to my lupus. After six days of dealing with a cough, sore throat, and sinus pressure, my doctor prescribed a 7-day course of Augmentin.

I finished the Augmentin, and while the cough is just about gone, my sore throat has returned with a vengeance. The pain is now radiating to the base of my tongue, and I’m dealing with some post-nasal drip.

I have an unused 10-day prescription of amoxicillin sitting here. Should I take that to knock out whatever is left, or is that a bad move after finishing a course of Augmentin? Should I just suck it up and go back to the doctor?
