SKILL WITHOUT CERTIFICATION

Say I have acquired a skill without certification.

How do I use it while applying for something? How do I show that I genuinely have that skill?

Like, in my CV.

With projects? But then, I can just copy someone else's project and show it as mine.

I have no idea.

It'd be a great help if I can get, like, some sort of enlightenment in this issue.
