They did something to the matchmaking, every match feels like ranked to me.

Ok, so for context: I reached Diamond last season. Didn‘t play all that much of ranked, but enough to reach that rank. When playing in those lobbies i would frequently fight other diamonds and Pinnacle players. Pinnacle players were especially annoying since they would always brute force the fights with insane gear advantages resulting in unfun matches.

So i then i stopped playing ranked to just chill basically. And i was excited to have clean mm again with the wipe, meaning i can team up with lesser skilled people to help out etc. Should be enough new and returning players, right?

Nope, every single match i‘m playing pinnacles lol. Even when my squad mates are complete noobs that didn‘t even leave bronze 3 last season and don‘t even know the maps. So we obv lose every single fight since i sure as shit can‘t carry against those teams.

Now granted this is without fill, maybe that would give me more capable teammates. But i wanna play with my friends if i can. But as of rn it seems irrelevant to try since we‘re getting rolled on every map.

They might‘ve added sbmm, that scales off the highest rank player, with this update.

Which wouldn‘t be a problem if it would actually take my teammates into account. This way the game is just not fun. If i want to play ranked i will don‘t worry. I don‘t need it all the time tho. I‘ve quit many games because of this shit, and will probably quit this too if it stays this way.

(I might just have gotten unlucky, but i don‘t think so)
