Anyone regret their dream attainable car purchase?

Advice

After years of saving and driving family cars around I finally went ahead with purchasing an M240i xdrive, I thought it was all the car I ever could want or need.

The issue is that after a year of ownership I find myself having to force myself to enjoy it and like it…

In my early years of driving I had a Saxo VTR, EP3, Clio 200 (this being my favourite)… the m240i is way more premium, far more powerful, 4wd etc.. but i just find it all a bit un useable? I miss the screaming N/A and banging through the gears with a lightweight chassis..

Sure the straight 6 sounds amazing and when I’m driving the BMW I’m enjoying it, but every time outside the car I’m always thinking is it worth it?

It sits in the garage most of the time and only really comes out on weekends.. it does feel special taking it out of the garage but I’m still left pondering, would a more user friendly day to day hot/warm hatch just be better for me?
