Moonlight/Apollo drops connection

im not sure what happened but my moonlight/Apollo stream which was previously stable until yesterday now gives me the "connection error -1."

host PC running apollo

client is my ROG ally on bazzite running moonlight.

I did an update to bazzite, didn't solve the issue. my ROG ally is docked with a wired Ethernet connection so I tried just WiFi and t still drops out.

anyone else running into this issue?
