Got calls from almost 30 companies in 4 months. Doing free resume reviews to give back.
Hey everyone, went through a pretty intense job search recently and somehow managed to get interviews with close to 30 companies in about 4 months. A big part of what made that happen was people who genuinely helped me along the way, with my resume, with how I was positioning myself, with honest feedback nobody else was giving me, and a lot of people did it for free, so similar to those people I want to give it back to others now.
Now I'm on a hiring team and have been seeing resumes every single day. The gap between what gets shortlisted and what gets ignored is so obvious from this side. A lot of what I see is genuinely fixable stuff but nobody is telling people about it because most people don't know what actually makes a resume stand out. And it's not just the hiring team perspective, having just gone through a job search myself I also know firsthand what actually works from the candidate side too.
So I set up a Topmate to do free resume reviews. And when I say free I mean completely free, not now, not later, no paid tier, no upsell, nothing. This is purely me trying to be for someone what others were for me.
I'm using Topmate just for scheduling because managing calls one by one over DMs isn't feasible, but the sessions themselves are 100% free and always will be.
I'll go through your resume, talk about structure, framing, ATS, tailoring it to the role you're targeting, and also how to actually use AI to help your resume without it sounding like it was written by one.
Open to tech, product, marketing, and business folks.
Before the session add the link to your resume and LinkedIn on Topmate so I can actually come prepared and not waste your time.
