Connection Interrupted multiplayer - constantly.

I'm constantly getting timeouts playing with my friends. It's been happening since launch. Just wondering if anyone has any solutions at all or is it just the shitty STS servers? Tried exiting and re-entering, etc. Some games are worse, some are better. There doesn't seem to be a pattern to it.
