Is it weird that my best friend still likes my ex’s Instagram posts?

I don’t know if I’m being overly sensitive or if my feelings are valid here.

My best friend (someone I consider my sister and my other half) still follows my ex on Instagram and regularly likes his posts. What makes it hurt more is that she knows how badly that relationship affected me. She knows I was severely hurt by him and that I’ve struggled a lot because of what happened.

The confusing part is that she has repeatedly told me that she hates my ex even more than I do and that she can’t stand him because of how he treated me.

That’s why I felt really hurt when I noticed she was still interacting with his posts. I wasn’t expecting her to go out of her way to be rude to him or anything, but I guess I thought she’d be more loyal to me and wouldn’t actively engage with his content.

I know people are allowed to follow whoever they want, and I’m not trying to control her social media. But it feels strange seeing someone who knows how much pain he caused me still supporting his posts.

Am I being unreasonable for feeling hurt by this, or would this bother you too?
