Camera gear for Vacation

Going on a vacation to see Texas. I’ll be hitting Dallas, Austin, Houston, and San Antonio.

I’m taking my camera with me to create memories**.**

My main combo will be in my Cannon** R1 with my 28 to 70 mm F2.**

Am I the only one that gets a little embarrassed of pulling out my camera and taking pictures of** my plate at a restaurant, or inside of a museum, or even just my kids at an amusement park? I have no problem doing this with my phone, but I’d like to get the quality of my actual camera. **It’s like I’m embarrassed or something. I know it sounds crazy, but I’m committed to doing it through this road trip.

Does anybody else have this problem? If so, how did you overcome it?
