A Pretty Website Won't Save a Confusing Message

One of the biggest mistakes I see on Showit websites isn't the design.

It's the homepage.

Many business owners spend hours making their site look beautiful, but visitors land on the homepage and have no idea:

  1. What the business does
  2. Who it's for
  3. What problem it solves
  4. What action they're supposed to take next

A simple homepage structure that works:

  1. Clear headline explaining exactly what you do
  2. Short supporting text focused on the client's outcome
  3. Strong call to action button
  4. Social proof (testimonials, results, client logos)
  5. Services or offers
  6. About section
  7. Final call to action

A clean website that communicates clearly will usually outperform a beautiful website that confuses visitors.

Before changing colors, fonts, or layouts, ask yourself:

"Can a stranger understand my business within 5 seconds of landing on my homepage?"

Most conversion problems start there.
