Question regarding if I am able to bring something on the plane.

Question

Firstly, this will sound incredibly stupid and weird but I promise it’s something i genuinely need to know.

I have a trip from SA to Melbourne coming up and I’m flying qantas as I usually do.

I have severe anxiety (not about flying it’s just about anything and everything). And I have something that I won’t get into but i genuinely think I might be the only one in the world who uses it for the sake of my anxiety. To clarify it is the only thing that has ever actually helped me with anxiety and i genuinely need it 24/7, so no I am not able to just get through without it.

But I really need a carrot (raw not cooked!) sounds stupid I know, I know… but I know you can’t bring fruits and vegetables onto a plane. Is there possibly any chance I would be allowed to bring it with me in my carry on bag? I can get a doctor, or psychologist note if that would make a difference.

I know this is a far fetched ask but I just wanted to ask incase there was a possibility.
