Coach City or Station?

Hi, I’m getting two bags for myself mom and I.

My mom is planning to get a Station tote in Signature Canvas because she wants something with zipper.

While I’m torn between getting the City or Station. I would like a roomy bag, something light, which one do you guys prefer?

And does the plain black totes better in quality than Signature Canvases?
