Anyone travel to 🇵🇭 this December?

Hello, peeps! Is anyone planning to go home for a vacation this December?

We’re currently having a dilemma about which flight to book to MNL. As you probably know, airfare prices have skyrocketed.

We’re considering the cheaper option. Singapore Airlines has announced that it will resume its flights starting this August. The thing is, there’s no guarantee that the flights will actually resume, especially with the recent incidents happening in the region.

Now we’re wondering what the smartest thing to do is, especially for December travel. Should we book with Singapore Airlines and trust that they will resume operations so we can get cheaper tickets? Or should we book with Emirates instead for a hassle-free experience, even though the tickets are much more expensive? We’re a family of four, and the total cost is around AED 19,000.

What are your thoughts, especially from those who are also planning to travel this December?
