Adsense issue

I applied for youtube monitisation 6 days ago. It was stuck on step 2. Today i got an email saying:

Thank you for your interest in Google AdSense. We've reviewed your application, and there are a few things you'll need to adjust before it can be approved. Once you’ve done so, one of our specialists will review your site for compliance with our Program policies.

Youtube studio was still showing 'in progress'. I resubmitted. I never had an adsense account before. Did anyone face the same issue? If so how to fix it? Thanks.
