EV Charger Rebates Available to Canadian Homeowners in 2025 and 2026

British Columbia — BC Hydro customers are eligible for a $200 CAD ($145 USD) rebate on power management devices used for EV charging. This includes the NeoCharge Smart Splitter. BC Hydro also offers a separate rebate for EV charger installation and a Peak Saver bill credit program for customers who enroll and charge during off-peak hours. These programs can be stacked in some cases.

Canada-wide — The federal government has offered rebate and tax credit programs for EV charging equipment at various points. Eligibility and availability change periodically so it is worth checking the most current federal program details directly.

Ontario and Quebec — Provincial programs have varied over time. Checking directly with your local utility is the most reliable way to confirm current eligibility.

NeoCharge maintains a rebates page with updated information on eligible programs across Canada and the US. You can find it at getneocharge.com/pages/rebates.
