New owner questions M4-22 WMR

New owner of a M4-22 WMR and have some day 1 questions.

- I read the manual and it requires cleaning before first use. How necessary is this? If I clean it (or have it cleaned) is it ready to use immediately after cleaning? Or does it need a day to dry?

- I on only seeing “universal” cleaning kits or 22lr cleaning kits. What kit would be best to buy for the 22WMR?

- any recommendations for an adjustable 1x-3x magnifier?
