EPI Company | ING Germany expands Wero to include online payments

• Expanding beyond peer-to-peer payments 
• Activation rate: over 600,000 ING customers use Wero 
• Simplified onboarding through integration with current account terms and conditions

Frankfurt am Main, 03 June 2026 – From now on, ING customers can also pay with Wero in e-commerce at participating online retailers. The bank is thus expanding its offering, which until now focused on peer-to-peer payments, to include another key use case.
