Built an "intent-matching" platform using high-performance vectors to bypass noisy chat channels for developers

Hey everyone,

If you write Rust, finding people working on the exact same niche stack as you is annoying. If you drop a message in a massive Telegram or Discord group asking about something specific like tokio runtimes, io_uring, or custom allocators, your text gets buried under casual chat or generic job spam within an hour.

Group chats and traditional social feeds just aren't built for deep technical stuff.

So I built a dedicated, post-based space for Rust devs on Cosine (https://mycosine.dev), no chatrooms, just clean text posts and technical write-ups.

How it actually works: Instead of a generic popularity feed or a broken keyword search, it runs on a vector layer (using Qdrant). It maps the actual meaning of your posts. You can literally use natural language prompts to scan the community feed and find exactly what you need

You control the algorithm: There’s no black box choosing what you see. You can actually look at, tweak, or completely reset/fork your profile’s vector data to decide exactly what hits your feed.

It’s completely early-stage, independent, and free. No corporate fluff or engagement bait, just a clean directory to document your work and find serious systems builders.

Check it out and drop your first technical post here:mycosine.dev
