I have shanked ballas a good 6 times today.
So not sure whats up with teh sacrifice somachord tones. but they are inconsistant and has alot of conflicting info on a few years of reddit threads and the wiki's themself.
first run: no somachords, was told they were guaranteed spawns/locations.
second run: ran first mission 15-20 times with no spawn cuz was told "they dont always spawn so you may need to run again" eventually gave up and found "your creator" 1/2 on mission 3 (find umbra on ceres)
no more somachords for this run
third run: found somna cord 'your creator 2/2" in the spot wiki showed on mission 3.
then found 'to take away your pain 1/3" in mission 3 on the crane,..and ANOTHER in the same mission (no added progress with the dual spawn)
no more.
4th run: found on mission 3 in a corridor on the side. and then finally the last segment on mission 5 in a side corridor.
add in the initial running for quest progress years ago, and the time i sped run it while watching my friend to the quest for the first time.
catharsis aside, the inconsitant spawns on the somnacord, basically forcing me to play this quest multiple times, exasperated by all the cutscenes being unskippable REALLY made these 2 songs a pain. IDK if its intentional or just bugged out, but would be Nice if DE fixed it to work like the other quest/zone somnacords. It's too late for me, but no one else should have to suffer this loop. ((now to wait for baro to give me my last 2 songs))
