Exer (gasp) cise. Don't make me. Make me.

Fitness

Because of how my life is right now, I have the option of being VERY sedentary. I (56F) am finding my knees hurt, my hips sometimes hurt, basically my lower body hurts, is stiff, etc. I want to change this.

I worked out with a trainer off and on for the last 30 some years, but my last one switched jobs and I haven't found a new one. If I could stand the rah-rah of the Pilates studio, I'd do that, but no...just can't do it.

I can't seem to motivate myself to move! I used to love walking through the woods, but lost my last dog a year ago and now don't go...plus I feel a little uneasy walking through the woods alone.

What tips/tricks/plots/ploys/ruses have you used to get yourself to move around? Did any of them work? I need help!
