Removed ring

Hi all, I’m choosing to post here as I don’t talk to family or friends about marital issues and I don’t really know what else to do in this state. My husband and I have been married for 6 years, we got married in our early 20’s and are rounding 30’s. If you’ve done the same maybe you know the hardships of growing as young individuals while growing in marriage. Last night we had a blow out argument, sometimes there are points in an argument where we are both so stubborn that we’re not even arguing about the start anymore and instead throwing this that and the other into the conversation. I’ve changed my approach to arguments where for the last couple of yrs I’ll try to actually calmly discuss whereas nowadays he assumes how a discussion will turn into an argument and is set off from the start(escalating the argument imo) then he shuts down. Last night, I became the hot head, all of my suppressed anger came to the surface and out of desperation, anger and tiredness, I took my ring off and said I’m done. I didn’t mean it. I imagined what it would feel like if he did that to me and it’s awful. If anyone has been in similar situations, is this a forgivable act? My biggest fear is him harboring resentment for the sake of peace on the surface and I just want to know if this is something anyone else has moved passed before and what can I do to fix that. Thank you.

Tl;dr : I took my wedding ring off during a heated argument and I recognize the gravity it might have on my husband. I’m hoping to hear how I can fix this/if it’s forgivable.
