Debt Being Taken For LWOP

Happy Wednesday everyone,

I am hoping some payroll folks can help me understand what is going on. I have been having to use a lot of LWOP recently due to a flare of an FMLA covered condition. DFAS has been collecting a debt for the LWOP and I am not clear as to why. I am not being paid for the time, obviously, and my leave is being entered before the pay-period closes. I called DFAS and their explanation didn’t make sense. They say it is for retroactive corrections, but there are no corrections- the LWOP is being entered timely and my time-card is being certified on the last Friday of the pay-period like everyone else.

Can someone help me understand this?
