Audio lag in Pokemon FRLG on Eden v2.0/2.1

Hey, I'm having audio sync issues in Pokemon FireRed on Eden.

The sound randomly delays up to like 1 second. Sometimes it's laggy from the start, and other times it just starts lagging while I'm playing. Restarting the app fixes it sometimes but not always.

I already tried changing the audio to cubeb, trying different GPU drivers, and turning off VSync, but nothing worked.

The weird part is other games like BOTW run perfectly fine with zero lag. It only happens in this game. I'm on Android with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Does anyone know how to fix this? It's getting pretty annoying.
