Afraid of countless spam calls — an ICICI customer care agent shared my contact details with loan and insurance teams

Today I received a call from ICICI and the agent was trying to brainwash me and enroll me in the ICICI 3-in-1 account scheme.

As I want to manage everything by myself, I straightaway denied his offer. Then he asked me about my age, whether I have any health insurance, and my income status. While sharing those details, I accidentally mentioned that we would purchase a car soon, maybe in the next 4–5 months.

That was all he wanted. He informed me that he had shared my details with their relevant loan and insurance teams and agents from those teams would contact me soon.

Now we all know how harassing loan and insurance calls are. Until now I’ve been avoiding these calls by not sharing my number anywhere, but my peace didn’t last long. I’m now afraid that countless insurance and loan calls and messages will come to my number every day and however I respond, they will keep calling me back.

Is there any way to get my peace back? I don't want to receive those calls.
