Have you ever been truly disappointed by a handbag purchase?

I was going through my bags, wanting to change things up and realized I have one or two bags I have hardly worn and one of them is a recent purchase.

I didn't spend a lot of money on it compared to other bags and I bought it at a sale price so it's a final sale. I won't mention the brand because I do actually like this brand normally but I bought it online and while it looked good on the website, when I got it I was truly disappointed.

I just don't like the way it looks on me. It's a shape I don't normally wear. It's a longer rectangle shape, i.e., it's taller rather than wide. I am short, curvy and it just doesn't work. No matter how short or how long I make the handle, it falls in the wrong place, it looks bulky and feels wrong. Bah.

I'll figure out what to do with the bag, I may gift it or sell it because on a taller person it would work better. But it got me thinking about buying things that you don't try on in person and how you can be truly let down by it.
