Purchasing advice

I'd like to try out the game for the first time and plan on playing it 90% as a singleplayer RPG. I want to explore, quest, read, create cool builds, craft, etc.

I don't care about having access to the latest meta sets and raids as much as i do good singleplayer content.

Would you guys recommend buying the deluxe edition (which i think now includes all expansions and dlc? It's a bit vague on the store page with lots of old negative reviews from when it was an entirely different product or something.) Or the plus subscription which seems to include most but not all dlc and some expansions(?) and perks.
