Names with special characters

Hi I’ve been wanting to add a symbol to my ign. I’ve seen a lot of players recently with a bunch of different ones being used. For example (☆ ★) does anyone know of the safe ones to use? Or is it just a shot in the dark? (Don’t wanna end up with a box in my name) Thank you in advance to anyone who can help!
