Horrible experience with Agarwal Packers and Movers

Despite choosing APML based on its reputation and paying nearly ₹1 lakh for the service, the entire experience has been stressful, unprofessional, and far below acceptable standards.

The issues began on the scheduled packing date. The packing team arrived only at around 12:00 PM, and only two workers were assigned for the entire household relocation. To make matters worse, they arrived with incomplete packing material, forcing me to make multiple calls to the field supervisors to arrange the required materials.

The conduct of the assigned labor staff was equally disappointing. One of the workers, Prashant, behaved rudely towards my elderly parents. The packing quality was poor, and the team demanded an additional ₹2,000 merely to dismantle a simple non-hydraulic bed. As a result, my 70-year-old father had to dismantle the bed himself. Throughout this period, my attempts to seek assistance from Mr. Hemant and Mr. Arvind went unanswered, as they stopped responding to my calls.

By 8:00 PM on the same day, the packing remained incomplete. Shockingly, the workers left for the day, leaving half of my household goods unpacked inside the house and the remaining items lying unattended in the apartment lobby. They returned only around 12:00 PM on next day and completed packing and loading at approximately 4:00 PM. Consequently, a job that was scheduled to be completed on day 1 was delayed by an entire day 2.

Despite raising these concerns multiple times over phone calls, no effective action was taken.

Unfortunately, the issues did not end there. At the time of booking, I was assured by Mr. Arvind that the shipment would reach Gandhinagar within 6–7 days. However, as of today, more than 8 days have passed and my household goods remain stuck at Bhiwandi, Maharashtra, with no meaningful movement or delivery commitment.

Similarly, my car, remained in Bangalore for 5 days before being moved, causing further delays and uncertainty.

This entire relocation has caused immense stress, inconvenience, and anxiety to me and my family during an already challenging interstate move. The lack of planning, poor execution, unresponsive supervisors, rude behavior of staff, unreasonable monetary demands, and continued delays have made this the worst relocation experience I have ever encountered.

I request everyone to stay away from APML. I had much better experience with SantaFe (not sure other big such players).
