Currently in the rebuild of Fortuna Dusseldorf 95. Made this really crazy system, using money ball approach and buying really cheap like horrendously cheap players but based on attributes. One of the main SS is a pacey mc who I morphed into an amc that can both shoot and give assist , Italian 19 yrs of age and cost under a mil. Got 2 heavy duty dm both from mls- Santiago castenada (he was in MLS in the save) and Hamzat Ojediran. During summer transfer of 2027-2028 season bought 11 players of around 123 million (all on instalments) to have a properly rotating squad for upcoming UCL matches. The system can sound really bizarre because there is no right back just 3 cbs, 3 in mid where 1 is an advanced wing back and on the attack 2 wingers and 2 ss. No low block shenanigans, just counter and counter press. Down side : you need to choose players carefully to run the system efficiently. All the players that I bought in this save till now were under 15 mil each. It's really mind boggling to find the right players with the right attributes in a tight budget. If you can do that, I think this could work well. And yeah you need to do adjustments during the match, because in my run opponents are changing formation out of nowhere and you may need to change pressing traps or even opposition instructions based on that.
