Any vloggers or content creators over here? Need advice (even photographers)

I am 20 rn and I love travelling, I do solo outings through the city a lot. Recently I've been thinking I want to start vlogging these moments, maybe even post about food and travel content, suggestions, and reviews.
Anyone here who tried this? or any tips on how to begin?
I dont have any fancy gear, so I am think i'll shoot first and then voiceover the videos instead of speaking while travelling. is a mic really necessary? I am going to shoot from my phone itself btw (oneplus 11).
I do have a list of places to start with and what to speak, but I am not getting enough confidence. I don't want to start posting a few reels on instagram and youtube and then stop cause it didn't get viral or get any support (it would be kinda embarrasing in front of friends and family).
Also do I need to create a new insta page? or is it suggestable to continue on this page itself? (I already have an open insta account with 1k+ followers where I post my photography)
