faulty hardware?
hi everyone,
i came back here after trying pretty much every software-related fix i could find, so far, i've:
- tested countless software solutions
- changed various BIOS settings
- tried different mouse polling rates
- clean install of windows
- reinstalled GPU drivers multiple times using DDU
at this point, i've accepted that there is something cooked with my hardware, no matter what settings i change, the performance and feel of my games remain exactly the same
in rdr2 with vsync off i never could get above 60 fps, it would sit around 40-50 fps but it really feels much worse than that
my monitor is not even 100hz, so every game i play does not ever feel like buttery smooth 60 fps
i'm hoping to get some opinions on which component might be causing the issue, because after everything i've tried, i'm convinced this is hardware-related and looking to replace that part
My system specs are:
- Ryzen 5 7500F
- GIGABYTE 5060 TI 16GB
- Patriot Viper Venom 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 6400MHz
- Corsair RM650x PSU
- ASUS Prime B650M-K motherboard
