Thinking about losing Eve, curious about the current state of FW

Trying to decide which side I want to join up with, I typically do either caldari or amarr since I like their ships, but thinking about going gallente to change things up. I mostly play solo and causally, so I’m a bit worried that the number disparity would make it hard for me to do much if I did go gallente.

Also just curious in general if anything interesting is going on with anyone on any faction that might convince me to join up with that side. I’m USTZ east for if that matters.
