Bespoke furniture companies: how much did you actually pay for a fully equipped dressing room?

I have reached the point where I am completely fed up with makeshift solutions and standard wardrobes that leave dead spaces up to the ceiling. We all know what houses here in the UK are like, with awkward angles and rooms where you simply cannot hide visual clutter without something made exactly to the millimeter.

I recently invited a company home for a first draft, and I am seriously considering shaking hands with them for the final project. I was convinced by the fact that they make everything from scratch based on how many clothes you have, plus they offer that lifetime guarantee which makes me believe it will last forever without the hinges sagging or the wood creaking over time.

However, work at this level comes with a fairly steep price, and I would like to get a clearer idea of the current market before paying the deposit. For those of you who have recently invested in a dressing room or bespoke floor-to-ceiling furniture, what final budget did you end up with, including assembly and internal finishes?

Also, did it take long from the signing of the contract until the guys actually came to install the furniture in the house without leaving you with a construction site in the bedroom for too long?
