Is it weird to be in love with Christ?

I will be finally be accepted into consecrated life after 6 months of active discernment, and I was praying one day and I was saying "I love you, my only Spouse". And it kind of hit me. I am joining a secular institute (see Canon law) which is a form of consecrated life. I will also be making a vow of celibacy and the evangelical counsels in front of the bishop. I was wondering if this is a correct feeling to have before entering consecrated life or I should pray differently. I would appreciate your advice.
