Bathroom rug/rainy days

Hi there! This week I was asked about a bathroom rug, which I politely declined, BUT, is there a way to make it work? I genuinely don't think so.

I also got asked about an entrance rug for a chess club in rainy days. Is there any possibility? Thanks in advance
