🚨 LIVE UPDATE: Fresh snow at Tre Cime (June 2026)

It just snowed at high altitude. The landscape is beautiful, but the trails are now slippery and muddy.

Quick safety facts for the next few days:

• The Trails: The main loop (101/105) has slush and slippery sections.
• Gear: Do not wear sneakers. Waterproof hiking boots and trekking poles are highly recommended. Bring microspikes (ramponcini) if you have them.
• The Road: The toll road up to Rifugio Auronzo is open and cleared, but drive carefully in the early morning.
• Clothing: Winter jackets, beanies, and gloves are mandatory. It's freezing up there.
