Sephiroth's newest Ever Crisis outfit may confirm a theory of mine (Compilation Spoilers)

I believe the goal of the trilogy is to wrap up the story of the entire Compilation, which was left open as of Dirge of Cerberus' ending.

I had a theory that in the trilogy, Sephiroth's goal to absorb the Lifestream of multiple worlds will be accomplished through Omega Weapon in its true form. While the Omega Weapon in VII is not the same as the universe-hopping OG version, considering the multiple timelines/universes, I could see that poasibly being a trait that it possesses for the VII universe.

Sephiroth would accomplish this by fusing with the Weapon in its true form - and maybe this is being hinted at by the recent "Omega Wing" skin in Ever Crisis?
